For those of you who have read and enjoyed my short story SMILEYS' GRAVE, here are some pictures I took of Mills Cemetery in a slideshow presentation (set to the song BURY MY LOVELY by October Project). The cemetery is an eerie graveyard very near to the house where I grew up, and which is the resting place of the Smiley family who all died on May 9th, 1927. The cemetery and the Smiley grave are a place of haunted legend and the inspiration behind my short story and my screenplay COLOR OF FLAME, adapted from the short story.
