This song from SLIPKNOT represents so much of how I've felt about lost love. It represents my character in my new short story A CATCH IN TIME.
The lyrics are outstanding –– as is the greatest pain I've felt in my life (I made a movie about it already). I think this is how Poe felt about his lost love:
