Saw THE NEON DEMON this morning.

Hmmmm...that was far less a movie than an overly glorified comment on the superficial, model-hate-model, I'll-do-anything-to-be-more-beautiful world of the L.A. supermodel scene. And in spite of a healthy dose of lesbian necrophilia, cold-hearted murder, surreal cannibalism, eyeball vomiting and harakiri, you'd think the film would be a helluva lot more exciting than it is. Of course, most of that happened in the last fifteen minutes of the movie. lol

I do have to say that ELLE FANNING's 18 year old body was in outstanding shape, which did help the film along through the first hour and half of dead slow in the filmic water.

All in all, if you want to watch a far superior film by writer/director NICOLAS WINDING REFN, watch DRIVE. This guy must really have some financial backers that love him in a very personal way, to give him all the money it took to make THE NEON DEMON. I wish these money clowns would read my screenplays––I actually make a solid attempt to tell a good story, in spite of any arty un-commercialism that might seep in.

Enjoy A Clip From THE NEON DEMON:
