MY FRANKENSTEIN EYE!
Still my retina-peeled vitrectomy eyeball is healing. The air bubble is shrinking and my vision is coming back, but there is still a haze, like a London fog, as I look out over the bubble, which is a dark orb with a corona like that of an eclipse––I have a dark and dying star in my eye.
Another visit to the retina surgeon on Tuesday will hopefully bring happy healing news. And as of today I can finally get the eye in water––I can wash my hair after 8 days. YAY!!!
