The ‘ABOUT 9 TIMES’ SNARE!

Unearthed from my storage to celebrate 10 years back in Texas (Nov. 16th),
I’ve brought my ‘9x’ snare back to life. This is the original Pearl Jupiter steel shell
with proprietary Pearl parallel action snare strainer––now rare! Rare! RARE!
As well, this is the snare I used at all ‘9x’ live performances and on all ‘9x’ recordings
(“Play Jacks” [LP & Digital], “There Is No…” [LP & Digital],
and “Beyond Blue Sky, Nothing” [Digital Only]).
The drum is now all cleaned up and has brand new heads,
thanks to the great team at DALLAS PERCUSSION:

Yes, these were the final set I had on the snare for the last ‘9x’ shows. And they
still proudly display the LONE STAR PERCUSSION imprint, from the days when
Harvey Vogel was the owner and LSP was a thriving and driving force.
