I read the memoir BRAIN ON FIRE: MY MONTH OF MADNESS when it came out
back in 2012. Written in the style of journalist (which writer Cahalan
is), I found it educational, utterly riveting, and genuinely horrifying.
It's also a true story that could explain the centuries old, mistaken
accusations of demonic possession. Hope the film will be as intense as the book.
