Passed at 91 years of age:
July 6, 2020, Rome, Italy

You were truly an original and one of the absolute greats in film score composing. Always a favorite of mine, I will not forget your amazing music––and so much music––not the least of which is one of my all time favorites THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY.

Remember Mr. Morricone with this video, as he conducts his own composition, "The Ecstasy of Gold" from the film, "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".
