Rafflesia Arnoldii

According to the book BEYOND BIZARRE: Frightening Facts and Blood-Curdling True Tales (Amazon: http://tinyurl.com/he7jv2b) the Rafflesia Arnoldii is plant so large you could almost lose a small child in.

From BEYOND BIZZARE:
Rafflesia Arnoldii is a parasitic plant with the world's largest bloom.  The huge, red, bump-ridden petals stretch out to over 3 feet across, and the hole in the middle, where the pollen is, can hold6 to 7 quarts of water.  It smells bad, and if you're not careful, you could probably lose a one-year-ol or small dog inside this plant.
