From 7.8.15 –– Tonight Feast Frenzy @
The Horror Food Network went California Cajun!
First up today was
homemade, brown rice boiled with chopped jalapeno peppers, cut okra, a little
50/50 salt, and then drained and spiced with Tabasco Chipotle sauce. Spread over a large plate, the rice was a
perfect bed for my shrimp-and-veggie skewers (medium wild-caught shrimp, red
& green bell peppers, red onion slices, tomato wedges, and white
mushrooms), all brushed with a hickory BBQ & original Tabasco sauce mix –– then
grilled on the Nu Wave Oven. For
additional Cali-Cajun fire, I garnished with spicy brown mustard and 3-Regions
Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce. It was
excellent!
